About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Medical Evaluation Expert to join our team at MRG Exams. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, conducting medical assessments and making informed decisions based on their medical histories and current conditions.
In this position, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. It is essential to note that you will not make disability determinations, as this responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration.
Key Qualifications
- Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions.
- Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
- Maintain a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Proficiently use a computer.
