What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Examiner for Veterans position at MRG Exams?
At MRG Exams, we are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to perform assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The successful candidate will review medical records electronically through our web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
We require a highly organized individual who can manage their time effectively and meet the requirements of this role.
This is an IN-PERSON position that performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
Schedule Full-time (Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm OR Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
Key Attributes:
- Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Skilled in time management and able to stay on task to meet requirements.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Proficiently use a computer.
Requirements:
- Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
