What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Examiner for Veterans position at MRG Exams?
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Examiner for Veterans to join our team at MRG Exams. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this position, you will review medical records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document your findings electronically using the portal.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, allowing them to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. Time management skills are also essential, as you will be required to meet specific productivity requirements.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. Proficiency in computer use is also a requirement.
