What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Examiner position at MRG Exams?
At MRG Exams, we are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to perform disability assessments on United States Veterans.
The ideal candidate will be able to analyze medical records electronically and conduct focused, in-person physical exams. They will also document exam findings required by the VA through a web portal.
This role does not involve making disability determinations, as that responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration.
A key aspect of this position is performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day. The schedule for this full-time role is Monday to Thursday, 8am-6pm or Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
Requirements
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
