Job Title: Medical Examiner
We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to perform disability assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Document exam findings electronically using the VA's web portal.
- Perform Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
Requirements:
- Hold a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
About the Position: This is an in-person role with a typical schedule of 1-2 days/week (8am-4pm). The position performs Disability Assessments only and does not involve treatment or medication prescription. Training and continued support are provided, along with health insurance options and a computer supplied.
