We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at MRG Exams. As an Independent Medical Assessor, you will play a vital role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and conducting focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will also document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
This is not a treatment or prescribing role; your primary focus will be on completing Disability Assessments. You will typically perform assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, working within a set schedule during normal business hours with no on-call requirements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be proficient in using a computer, and possess strong analytical abilities to analyze data from medical records and exam findings.
