Job Description:
You will be responsible for conducting thorough medical assessments and evaluations in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines and regulations. This includes performing Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings accurately and objectively using the 5th Edition AMA Guidelines.
We require candidates who possess a strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Travel within Ohio is available, and candidates already on the BWC's Disability Evaluators Panel are highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments
- Perform Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings
- Document findings and provide clear, concise reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service
We welcome applications from licensed psychologists (PhD or PsyD) and board-certified MDs or DOs in Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehab, or Orthopedics. Experience with IME/impairment rating exams is preferred but not required.
