Disability Assessment Opportunities for Licensed Psychologists
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About this Role
- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal
- Conduct comprehensive in-person assessments of each Veteran
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal
The Licensed Psychologist will NOT make disability determinations. The Department of Veterans Affairs makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Average assessment of 4 Veterans per day
- Work independently as an independent contractor
- Part-time schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday (8am-5pm)
Requirements:
- Graduation from an APA-accredited program/school
- Active and unrestricted Psychology license
- Health insurance options available
