Disability Assessment Role for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Important Notes:
This role performs Disability Assessments only and does not involve treating or prescribing medication. The position requires analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
