**Disability Assessment Medical Professional**
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review electronic medical records and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran. Your comprehensive assessment will involve analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
This is a critical position that requires strong analytical skills, effective time management, and proficiency in using a computer. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, meet requirements, and stay organized.
The successful candidate will have a current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) and meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
This is a full-time opportunity with a set schedule during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. The typical day involves conducting 3-5 patient assessments per day. This role does not involve treating patients or prescribing medication.
Key Responsibilities:
