Job Title: Medical Assessment Provider
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical assessments on Veterans, including reviewing electronic medical records and performing in-person physical exams.
- Document exam findings electronically through a web portal.
- Do not make disability determinations, as this is the responsibility of the United States Veterans Administration.
Important Notes:
- This role performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
- Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Wednesday (7am-1pm, 2pm-5pm), Thursday (7am-11am).
- IN-PERSON position only.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
