About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review medical records electronically and perform in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document your findings through a web portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent medical assessments on Veterans
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Stay organized and meet productivity requirements
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
- Proficiency in using a computer
