About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
This is an in-person position, and you will be working with veterans who have been referred for disability assessments. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and performing focused physical exams on each veteran.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records and analyze data to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Perform in-person physical exams on veterans referred for disability assessments
- Document exam findings electronically through the web portal
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license
- Credentialing requirements set forth by the VA must be met
