Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Disability Assessment
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran.
- Electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
Important Notes:
- This role does not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
- This position performs Disability Assessments only and does not involve treating or prescribing medication.
Working Conditions:
- This is an in-person position with a typical schedule of 3-5 patients per day.
- Schedule: Full-time (Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm OR Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
