About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical record reviews electronically through a web portal
- Perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran
- Document exam findings electronically through the web portal
The selected candidate will work independently, analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. Strong time management and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, applicants must:
- Hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
