Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the Role
- Perform medical assessments on Veterans through in-person physical exams and electronic reviews of medical records.
- Document exam findings electronically through the VA web portal.
- No disability determinations will be made, as this responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration.
Schedule
This is an in-person position with a regular schedule:
- Monday and Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:30am - 12pm
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Work independently and efficiently to meet requirements and manage time effectively.
Requirements
- Candidate must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license accredited by NCCPA.
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
