Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Veteran Disability Assessments
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans, reviewing electronic medical records and providing accurate documentation.
- Review and analyze medical records via a secure web portal to ensure thorough understanding of patient conditions.
- Provide clear and concise medical opinions based on assessment findings, without treatment responsibilities.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Location: In-person role with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day.
- Equipment Provided: Computer and necessary tools for documentation.
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
