Disability Assessment Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Job Summary:
This is an in-person position that requires performing disability assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day. The successful candidate will review medical records electronically and perform focused physical exams, documenting findings through a web portal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent medical assessments on Veterans
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Manage time effectively to meet requirements and deadlines
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
