Nurse Practitioner - Disability Assessments
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Document exam findings electronically through the web portal.
The Nurse Practitioner does not make disability determinations; this role is limited to performing Disability Assessments on Veterans.
This position involves working with 3-5 Veterans per day, on average. Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days per week (8am-4pm).
Requirements:
- Currentr unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings.
- Strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
