MRG Exams, a premier service provider of independent medical examinations, seeks a part-time Ophthalmologist to perform comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.
Salary:
$80-$120 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
The Ophthalmologist will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and performing a comprehensive eye exam on each veteran and completing forms through the Web Portal.
You will travel nationwide, with training and continued support provided.
This position involves reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day on average, working as an independent contractor (1099).
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms and form medical opinions.
- Perform Visual Field Testing (VFT).
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
