Position Summary : We are looking for a skilled and passionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct vital medical assessments for veterans. This role focuses exclusively on independent medical evaluations—no treatment involved. You will review medical records, perform thorough evaluations, and complete VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure online system. Your assessments will play a crucial role in aiding the VA’s determination of disability claims, making a significant impact in the lives of veterans.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and review veterans' medical records securely online.
- Conduct detailed, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
- Complete and submit DBQs using VA-specific templates to capture comprehensive medical findings.
- Ensure all DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
- Assess up to four veterans daily.
Schedule : 1-2 days per week, with additional telehealth options available.
