Position Summary : We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans. This position is solely focused on evaluations and does not include treatment. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing medical records, conducting detailed assessments, and completing VA-required Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through our secure online portal. These assessments play a crucial role in assisting the VA in making accurate disability determinations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Thoroughly review and analyze veterans' medical records via a secure web portal.
- Conduct comprehensive and objective assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
- Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all pertinent medical findings.
- Ensure all DBQs are detailed, precise, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
- Assess up to four veterans daily.
Schedule : Work 2 days per week in person, with additional Telehealth days available.
