Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. This role involves reviewing medical records, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and completing VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze veterans' medical records to document current health conditions.
- Conduct non-treating assessments to gather relevant medical findings.
- Complete DBQs based on VA-specific templates within 24 hours of assessment.
- Ensure all assessments are thorough, accurate, and meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in PM&R.
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology preferred.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
