Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct medical assessments for veterans. This role involves reviewing medical records, conducting in-depth evaluations, and completing VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). The goal is to assist the VA in making accurate disability determinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal
- Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions
- Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings
- Ensure that all DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment
- Average four assessments per day
Schedule:
Minimum two days a week traveling around North Dakota, with additional telehealth opportunities available

Requirements:
- Active MD or DO license with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology preferred
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail essential
