Job Overview
- We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
- The successful candidate will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
- You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal, providing valuable insights to support the U.S. Veterans Administration's disability determinations.
Description
This role performs disability assessments exclusively on Veterans, ensuring that our nation's heroes receive the care and compensation they deserve.
You will not treat patients or prescribe medication, focusing solely on conducting thorough assessments and completing DBQs.
Average daily caseload: 4 Veterans.
This is an independent contractor position, offering flexibility and autonomy for the right candidate.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted psychology license.
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
