Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct medical assessments for veterans. This role involves reviewing medical records, conducting in-depth evaluations, and completing VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Your expertise will help ensure accurate disability determinations.
Key Tasks
- Review medical records and conduct comprehensive evaluations of veterans.
- Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of DBQs.
- Assess up to four veterans daily.
Work Arrangement
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, including 2 days/week in person and additional telehealth days available.
Candidate Requirements
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in PM&R.
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
