Job Description
This part-time position involves conducting medical assessments for veterans. The successful candidate will review medical records, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure online portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal
- Conduct non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions
- Complete DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings
- Assess up to four veterans daily
Essential Qualifications
Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred. Strong typing skills and attention to detail are required.
