We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the Role
In this role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document your findings electronically through the web portal.
This position plays a critical role in supporting the VA's mission to provide high-quality care to our nation's heroes. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough medical assessments of Veterans
- Analyzing data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Working independently to manage time and meet requirements
Key Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license (NCCPA accredited)
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
