About the Role
As a Disability Assessment Medical Expert, you will be responsible for reviewing electronic medical records, performing focused physical exams, and documenting your findings through a secure web portal. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting the disability determination process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent medical assessments on 3-5 veterans per day
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Document exam findings through a web portal
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (NCCPA accredited)
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
