Job Description
">We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. As a Disability Benefits Psychologist, you will play a critical role in conducting comprehensive assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
You will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct in-person assessments on each veteran. Additionally, you will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal. It's essential to note that you will not make disability determinations; rather, your findings will be used by the Veterans Administration to inform their decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience working with veterans or individuals with mental health conditions. You must hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
This is a full-time opportunity, with a schedule that includes 2 days of face-to-face interactions and 3 days of telehealth sessions. You will have the option to work from home and enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
