About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to serve the Veteran community in a part-time capacity. As an Independent Medical Assessment Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting disability assessments on Veterans through electronic medical records and in-person exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal
- Perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran
- Document exam findings electronically through the web portal
- Analysis of data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Ability to proficiently use a computer
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet requirements
