Job Overview
MRG Exams is seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure Web Portal.
The primary responsibility of this position is to assess Veterans' disabilities, not to make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to work autonomously while serving the Veteran community.

We offer flexible scheduling options for our contractors, including part-time or full-time arrangements that combine face-to-face and telehealth sessions.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
