About This Role
We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the disability benefits process.
Overview
- This is an independent assessment role, which involves reviewing medical records and completing questionnaires.
- The successful candidate will serve the Veteran community and enjoy working in a part-time capacity, averaging 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal.
- Perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.
- The licensed psychologist provides valuable contributions to the VA's decision-making process, but does not make disability determinations.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
