Is your expertise in the Food Packaging Industry?  Are you ready for your next great career move?  Our client, a leading provider of innovative food packaging solutions is seeking a dynamic National Account Manager for the Central/Eastern region of the U.S.

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key National Foodservice and CPG Accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background with large national food processors, large grocery chains, retail and convenience stores in the Paper and Disposables Industry and sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Foodservice National Accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and challenges within the disposable products sector
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to align efforts and meet customer needs
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and account plans to senior management
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with national account clients, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining profitability
  • Training & Support: Provide product training and support to clients to enhance product understanding and usage

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry particularly in the Paper, Disposables and Packaging Industry
  • 7 years of experience in foodservice, industrial, and retail account management sales, in the Paper and Disposables space
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business and Marketing or related field
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the food packaging market
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Remote position, however, candidate must live in the Central/Eastern region of the U.S. close to a major airport

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
