Highland Consulting Group, a national executive search firm specializing in construction recruitment, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator for a growing mechanical contractor in the Newark, NJ area.
Our client is a full-service mechanical contractor expanding its team to support commercial and light industrial projects valued at $5 million or more. This is a permanent, on-site position with little to no travel.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop master budgets and cost models for HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects.
- Provide conceptual and hard bid estimates for new builds, retrofits, and service projects.
- Maintain and enhance cost databases for improved estimating accuracy.
- Deliver independent change order estimates.
- Support pre-construction cost estimating and project planning.
