Senior Accountant – Audit & Assurance

Our client, a growing CPA firm located in north central IN, is actively seeking a Senior Auditor. The Senior Auditor will lead and execute audit engagements with precision and integrity. This role will involve developing comprehensive audit plans, mentoring a team and cultivating client relationships. The Senior Auditor will stay at the forefront of industry changes, contribute to business development efforts and make a lasting impact on both clients and the firm.

Senior Auditor Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and execute audit engagements, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budget constraints
• Develop comprehensive audit plans for clients in accordance with regulatory standards
• Analyze financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to identify areas for improvement
• Lead and guide audit teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Provide mentorship and training to junior auditors, facilitating their professional development
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their business
• Address client concerns, inquiries, and requests in a timely professional manner
• Conduct internal quality assurance reviews to maintain and enhance audit quality
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and auditees to address inquiries and maintain transparency
• Stay abreast of industry changes
• Contribute to business development efforts
