Our client is a nationally renowned mutual insurance company that works with specialized coverages that understands the risks that their clients face to protect their day-to-day business. They have over a century of experience providing property and casualty insurance products and services operating in over 40 states. They are looking for a Sr Commercial Underwriter to join their team.
Essential Functions :
- Select, grow and maintain a profitable book of business comprised of small to middle market accounts
- Develop and foster agency relationships
- Collaborate with marketing representatives to ensure agency receive superior customer service
- Coordinate with branch managers and marketing to support the planning and review process
- Provide mentorship to less experienced underwriters
Requirements :
