What You’ll Do:
As our Business Development Representative, your main job is to drive our growth by finding potential clients, reaching out through emails, building relationships with leaders in targeted markets, and qualifying them for our services.
Being the first point of contact for our business, you’ll need to have excellent communication skills, lots of energy, and a willingness to learn about the industries you’re targeting so you can address their challenges.
Research potential accounts, identify decision-makers, and spark interest through outbound emails and calls.
- Build and nurture strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across different functions, including but not limited to the Sales Leadership Team, Marketing Team, and Operations Teams.
- Work closely with the ace Talent Curators Sales leadership team, aligning priorities to empower their efforts.
- Engage in high-level conversations with founders, executives, HR professionals, and hiring managers.
- Keep track of prospect interactions in our CRM (we use HubSpot) for smooth lead management.
- Set up initial discovery calls with qualified prospects.
- Meet quarterly goals for qualified meetings at specific stages.
- Create strategies and a repeatable process to pinpoint top prospects using prospecting tools and calling techniques.
Required Skills and Experience:
1-2 years in a business/sales development position selling B2B products/services.
- Experience in startups or fast-paced environments where things can be a bit unclear.
- Ability to thrive in uncertainty – you’re super adaptable and can handle conflicting priorities.
- Strong content management skills (like creating learning materials and managing content repositories).
- Proven experience in generating demand and managing lead flows.
- Experience in qualifying inbound leads using a standard approach.
- A solid track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A drive to enhance sales efficiency and performance.
- Comfort with researching to pinpoint target customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences and formats.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems is a bonus.
- Based in the Miami Metro area and open to a hybrid work schedule, including one day of travel a week to our HQ in Delray Beach.
