Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care, including patient assessments, fittings, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop customized treatment plans.
• Design, fabricate, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices to meet patient needs.
• Educate patients on the use, care, and maintenance of their devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in prosthetics and orthotics to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist (CO) by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years of experience preferred, upper extremity experience considered a plus
• Skills: Strong clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• License: Current license to practice in New York or eligibility to obtain licensure.
