Responsibilities
- Support the Preventative Maintenance Program with goal of reducing equipment downtime
- Follow OSHA and government roles including Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. (GMPs) and personal/food safety Programs (SQF)
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and develop a plant to resolve equipment issues including PLCs, plant electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and general mechanical systems
- Maintenance record of work performed through the use of work orders, software
- Consistently seek opportunities for continuous improvement
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a high volume food manufacturing setting
- 6 months of experience in a bakery setting preferred
- Ability to wire electrical motors, stick and MIG weld, use of basic machine tools
