Position : Field Application Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Application Engineer to work directly with customers in a support role. You will assist with design, bring-up, and debugging processes using our ASICs and reference design systems. This role is crucial for securing design wins and guiding our solutions to successful production at customer sites. You will interface directly with customers and collaborate closely with our Marketing, Sales, and engineering teams to ensure the successful launch of projects and products.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Science (BSCS) required
- 10 years of experience supporting silicon devices
- 5 years of experience with high-end servers
- Familiarity with Linux OS, tools, and kernels
- Knowledge of x86 server BIOS and configurations
- Experience with embedded systems
- Proficient in PCIe protocols
- Strong customer interaction and relationship management skills
- Excellent project and time management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex issues
- Experience in hardware, software, and firmware bring-up
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident (green card)
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
