What are the responsibilities and job description for the FPGA Prototyping Design Engineer position at MRL Consulting Group?
Responsibilities
- Having around 10 years of hands on FPGA prototyping design experience and emulation
- Good understanding of FPGA prototyping architecture, devices, flows and tools
- What you'll be doing : Build FPGA prototypes on Xilinx or Quartus FPGA chip by making RTL FPGA-friendly, partitioning the design and taking it through synthesis and place and route
- Improve performance of the prototype, analyze timing and generate bit streams
- Bring up the design on FPGA prototyping platforms and indulge in problem solving
- Having PCIe controller or / and switch design FPGA prototyping experience would be a big plus
