What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Copywriter position at MRM McCann?
MRM is looking for a Senior Copywriter who has experience writing for a wide range of brands. You'll be responsible for ideation, concept development, and implementation of creative copy across multiple channels. You're an excellent storyteller and craftsperson. You hone your craft every day. The Senior Copywriter's workload will consist of (but is not limited to) writing for email, site, social, OLA and print pieces. Email and site experience is required.
Responsibilities :
- Write copy that's spot-on brand voice
- Brainstorm and develop strategically sound creative concepts
- Produce work for a range of online and offline mediums - websites, landing pages, printed collateral, social, banners and emails
- Stay current on existing, new, and emerging platforms
- Present work internally and occasionally to clients, when needed
- Own a project from conception through completion
- Juggle multiple projects, stick to deadlines and ensure high-quality, error-free output
- Take direction from the Creative Director while continuing to learn
- Mentor junior writers
- Be a part of new business pitches

MRM Detroit team members must reside in a commutable distance, or be willing to relocate, to the Detroit area unless otherwise agreed upon by their manager and MRM Detroit's Human Resources team. MRM Detroit is a hybrid workplace with three days in-office per week.
