mroads is looking for a "Project Manager" for one of the direct clients. This is a remote opportunity with the client and involves some travel to Bethesda, MD.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor GDPR compliance measures within project frameworks.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues that may impact project success.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a functional role.
- Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and its implications on project management.
- Experience with GDPR regulations and their application in project settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
