What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at MRP Solutions?
Responsible for maintaining the highest standard of safety and order in all areas of the Lining Department. This job requires frequent interactions with other employees. Must be able to work well with other employees. Candidate must be self-motivated and prepared to take initiative. Maintain machines and equipment needed for production.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of Basic Hand Tools (Some Examples: Allen Keys, Safety Cutters, Plyers)
- Mechanical Knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of molding and lining operations a plus
- Equivalent combined education and experience will be considered
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Required to walk, sit and/or stand for up to 11.75 hours per day.
- May be required to reach with hands and arms.
- As needed, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs and lift to 50 lb
