SUMMARY
3rd Shift Sanitation Seasonal Team Leader will be responsible to learn and perform various jobs as a Team Leader and learn all tasks associated with sanitation activities performed.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Start time is 5:00 pm with a varying end time Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
- Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Follow all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Know all chemicals and their uses.
- Know cleaning procedures.
- Disassemble and assemble applicable equipment for cleaning.
- Monitor air and surface bacteria counts.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Help with supervising all sanitation employees on the night shift.
- Making sure that crewmembers are using proper chemicals and dilution rates.
- Will do plant inspections.
- Watch and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position directly oversees various duties being completed when employees are working in this area.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. No prior experience or training is necessary, although it is preferred.

The employee will have limited lifting, must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds for transport of training materials and setting up learning events. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required to wear PPE when in production areas to ensure safe food and adhering to safety practices.

When providing learning or walking through the plant to perform the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts. The employee will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions when traveling between entrances; extreme cold (non-weather); extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Works primarily in an office environment with visits in the production areas of the plant.
