SUMMARY
The ERP Business Analyst and Admin is responsible for the support and design of business applications, including the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP platform, reporting tools, and internal line of business applications. The ERP Business Analyst and Admin designs, recommends, and oversees changes to the environment, tests and maintains these changes, and provides tools for business leaders to view and gain business insights from the collected data. The ERP Business Analyst and Administrator contributes to complex aspects of a project and ensures the ERP system meets the evolving needs of the Company. Work is generally independent, but you will collaborate with vendors, IT team members, business leaders, and provide organizational support to the entire company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead support efforts on the organization's NAV ERP
- Design and develop reports, simple pages, and simple customizations for the ERP system
- Act as the liaison between company stakeholders and the external Microsoft VAR
- Troubleshoot system errors
- Provide training to users on ERP processes and provide support to internal ERP users and Production floor ERP users.
- Document workflows and identify paths for improvement
- Manage and improve integrated technologies, specifically with WMS systems such as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and E-Ship
- Develop reports, analytics and dashboards using JET Analytics, JET Reports, and PowerBI.
- Make recommendations and modifications to business applications required for the continual growth of Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen.
- Support and enhance internal line of business applications in C# and .Net that work in conjunction with ERP system.
- Coordinate Application and Process Change management relating to business applications.
- Provide guidance and implementation of best practices for SQL Server administration, as backup and indexes are being updated to maintain efficient ERP operation.
- Skills in managing vendor relationships, ensuring that the vendor solutions align with the organizational needs.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

- Deep understanding of ERP concepts, principles, and functionality is crucial.
- ERP customization and configuration. Knowledge of how to customize and configure the ERP system to meet specific organizational requirements. May include scripting languages, workflow customization, and system configuration.
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems (server and workstation).
- Proficiency of SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS data environments.
- Familiar with Identity Provider Solutions (Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID) integration to business applications.
- Intermediate in Languages including: ASP.Net, C#, C/AL, AL, SQL, and PowerShell Scripting
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

TECHNOLOGY
- Proficiency of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Proficiency of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Database Query language
- Proficient with report generation from SQL databases, SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerBI
- Intermediate in Languages including: ASP.Net, C#, C/AL, AL, SQL, and PowerShell Scripting.
- Experience with Jet Analytics and Jet Reports
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associates or higher-level degree (Computer science or Computer Information Systems, preferred) with 4-6 years' experience in an IT environment, but equivalent education and work experience will be considered.
Manufacturing experience as it applies to an ERP Business Analyst and Administrator.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Professional ability to speak, read, and write English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Advanced mathematical skills required.
