HOURS: 2:00 PM with varying end times due to production
DAYS: Monday - Friday

SUMMARY
Potato Room/Cabbage Line Team Leader will be responsible to learn and perform various jobs as a Team Leader and learn the recipes/ equipment, etc. in all the areas listed. They will ensure products are made with the highest quality possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Know and supervise all 1st shift activities: retort and cabbage.
- Supervise all set-up and start-up operations.
- Ensure all 1st shift personnel are properly instructed on how to perform their duties. Once trained, make sure that they continue to work efficiently.
- Ensure appropriate documents for all operations are filled out and distributed appropriately.
- Know, follow, and enforce HACCP, SQF, Food and Safety programs and safety procedures.
- Verify that machinery is running efficiently.
- Inform appropriate persons of any problems experienced.
- Manage personnel involved with processing.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position directly oversees various duties being completed when employees are working in this area.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must have good communication and organizational skills.
- Must be accurate with numbers.
- Should have or be able to obtain pallet jack and forklift license
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working near moving mechanical parts, occasionally exposed to extreme cold and heat (non-weather). Occasionally employees may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
