Mrs. Gerry’s was founded in 1973 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mrs. Gerry’s is a premier salad and side manufacturer and offers 120 different products which are sold coast to coast.

Starting wage: $20.00

Regular Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm (end time may vary)

Days: Monday through Friday

SUMMARY

• Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
• Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to follow a recipe.
• Gather all ingredients in their appropriate amounts for the salad being prepared.
• Set up all the salad ingredients for the mixer person and if needed instructs them on how to prepare the salad.
• Must be able to measure ingredients correctly to ensure Mrs. Gerry’s standards are met.
• Ensure quality controls are in place with each ingredient prior to using.

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Vision: up close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Able to work near moving mechanical parts.
• Environment is cool due to production of perishable food products.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Able to interpret safety, operational and maintenance instructions, plus procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective communication within a team.
• Willingness to cross-train where needed.
