SUMMARY
The Sales Manager, Customer Success – Retail is responsible for customer management and sales activities for assigned customers to ensure our customer service and sales objectives are achieved. This role will be primarily focused on existing wholesale and retail customers in the upper, Midwest and report to the Director of Sales – Retail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business planning and execution
Develop annual and quarterly sales roadmap for assigned territory. Drive plan execution and gap management.
- Call on key accounts
Develop call frequency to ensure all assigned accounts are aware of the products and services provided by Mrs. Gerry's Kitchen, Inc. Present new products. Suggest menu solutions. Monitor warehouse product inventory.
- Trade Shows/Deli Seminars/Food Service Seminars
Develop and lead annual trade show process to ensure best practices and efficiency. Participate in trade shows as required to maintain proper exposure with key accounts and to develop new business.
- Travel requirements
Expected travel to be up to 10%.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or an associate’s degree (A.A.) or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of relevant selling experience. Prior retail sales and deli category experience is preferred.
TECHNOLOGY
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Works primarily in an office environment with visits in the production areas of the plant.
